INSURANCE INDUSTRY: Can not be predicted Claims flood of Ambon - JAKARTA: Asosiasi Asuransi Umum Indonesia (AAUI) still can not predict insurance claims arising from major floods in Ambon in the last week.

Executive Director Asosiasi Asuransi Umum Indonesia (AAUI) Julian Noor said the characteristics of Ambon as insurance markets tend to be unique.

The reason, he said, not many insurance companies that entered the general insurance market in Ambon, especially after the riots.

On the other hand, he added, most commercial buildings are covered by insurance in Ambon is a branch company based in Jakarta, such as branch bank or financial institution.

"It is very rare local buildings, both individual buildings and the buildings belonging to government agencies in Ambon is already covered by insurance.
