JAKARTA: Capital Market Supervisory Agency and Financial Institution declared distribution vehicle financing without the imposition of fiduciary dangerous for multi.

However, there is an opportunity for multi-channel financing for motor vehicle without the imposition of fiduciary.

Mulabasa Hutabarat, Head of Financing and Guarantee Capital Market Supervisory Agency and Financial Institution (Bapepam-​​LK), said the financing is done without the imposition of fiduciary excluded from the Finance Minister Regulation (PMK) 130/PMK.010/2012 number.

"The PMK has been mentioned that the financing required to list only the fiduciary burden," he said Tuesday (09/10/2012).

However, he added, multi-channel financing difficult without the imposition of a fiduciary. The multi-risk, he said, will be larger because the customer could come away with the motor vehicle.

"If the customer is given the motor and its reg [Proof of Ownership of Motor Vehicles] without any transfer of the harm's way. But we'll see if it can be done without a fiduciary financing, "he said.

Basically, the fiduciary is a complement of the main agreement between the customer and the multi, the credits and debts. By doing so guarantees the imposition of fiduciary ownership is handed over to the lender, although it is still controlled by the owner of the object.

In recent months, several multi businessmen objected to the PMK, which requires the registration number 130/PMK.010/2012 fiduciary. They are worried about the increasing cost and duration of the registration process. (Msb)
